Reed Family Christmas: Strings & Piano

Join the Reed family and guest pianist Linli Wang for a musical performance featuring a mix of solos, duets, and family ensembles. The program includes cinematic-style hymn arrangements and beloved Christmas classics, bringing fresh expression to familiar melodies.

Annie (viola, violin) and Dash (piano) met while studying music at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Their three children are growing up surrounded by music. Hazel, 10, has played violin since age two and also plays piano. Atlas, almost 6, plays cello and piano, while Hera, 2, is just beginning her own musical journey with tiny versions of the family’s instruments.

The Reeds are delighted to welcome longtime friend Linli Wang to the stage. Linli and Annie were roommates at Pacific, and Linli and Dash both majored in piano performance. Linli is an accomplished accompanist and educator in the Bay Area. Her professional engagements include San Francisco Ballet and Alonzo King LINES Ballet.

The performance brings together a longtime friendship, a family’s love of music, and a unique program of familiar favorites.
