建筑与设计

该寺庙由建筑师 Harold W. Burton 于 1962 年设计，融合了装饰艺术、亚洲和中世纪元素。在最近的 2019 年翻修中，建筑师 David Hunter 和室内设计师 Karen Willardson 进行了改造。该建筑在建筑结构和室内设计中都体现了许多亚洲风格的元素。

2019年开放日和重新奉献

经过两年的翻修，加利福尼亚州奥克兰圣殿于 2019 年 6 月 16 日由达林·H·奥克斯 (Dallin H. Oaks) 重新奉献。

翻新工程包括重新使用前门，更新室内装潢，安装新的地毯，更新电气系统，新镶板以及恢复室外的倒影池。
