This stained glass display designed by Tom and Gayle Holdman from Holdman Studios captures many parables and miracles of Jesus Christ’s mortal ministry, in addition to dozens of His teachings as recorded in the King James Bible.
Each symbol is a witness to the living reality and divinity of the Savior, and His kind and forgiving nature. Onlookers from every age can find something to help them learn more about and feel more connected to Him. The Believe in Him augmented reality app, available on the Apple App Store 和 Google Play, includes AR, or augmented reality. Using the camera on your phone, you can scan the stained glass in front of you, and the glass transforms from a marvelous two-dimensional window into an interactive wonder.
Tapping on the figures present on the app plays audio highlighting Bible scripture stories.

Tom Holdman’s interest in stained glass began in high school when a teacher acted as a mentor to his art. When he was 21, Holdman started a stained-glass studio out of his parents’ garage and found patrons by traveling door-to-door. He founded Holdman Studios in 1988 in Lehi, UT. Holdman described the balance of creating stained glass art, “It’s a partnership of three — the artist, the glass and the light. You are only one-third of that partnership. I loved how the light interacted with the glass. It’s hundreds of pieces of art as it is affected by the sun. That captivated me” (Deseret.com).

Learn more about the symbolism and creation behind the Believe in Him stained glass exhibit with Lilly Gaskin, a sophomore at Brigham Young University.
