History and development of the Chinese calendar through the stages of: 陰曆 , simple Lunar calendars to 農曆traditional Farm Calendar, 陽曆 Solar, and星辰歷 Stellar. Plus Chinese traditional compass directions, Earthly Branches hour designations, Emperor Reign years/幹支ganzhi charts. This session will be facilitated by Lee Pearce, a volunteer at the Family Search Center and expert in Chinese Research.
