Amy & Sydney Strong
Mother-daughter duo Amy and Sydney Strong are delighted to return to Temple Hill for their 12th year performing together at Days of Christmas!
Amy grew up singing as a soloist and performing with choirs in Arizona and at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. One of her favorite experiences was singing for five years with BYU’s Vocal Jazz ensemble, Syncopation. Amy lives in Brentwood with her family, where she teaches elementary school and serves as the vocal director for the theater program at Heritage High School. She has loved sharing her passion for music and theater with her five children, all of whom have talents for singing and acting. Over the years, she has been fortunate to work alongside each of them in various Heritage High School musicals. Amy has also taught piano and voice in her home studio for the past 15 years. She currently serves as Assistant Director of the Oakland Temple Hill Choir, performing throughout the Bay Area as both a director and soloist.
Sydney is a junior at BYU in Provo, where she studies communications and teaches English at the Missionary Training Center. While serving as a full-time missionary in the Houston Texas South Mission, Sydney discovered an even greater love for writing music and playing the guitar. She now records and releases her original music on all streaming platforms and shares her love of Jesus Christ through social media. Sydney has also presented several musical firesides, sharing her testimony through music, personal stories, and scripture. You can follow her musical journey on Instagram at @sydneystrongsings.
This year, Amy and Sydney will be joined by a few family members and friends to share an evening of beautiful Christmas music celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Their hope is to fill hearts with the joy, peace, and hope that come from remembering Him during this special season.
Join us for this Christmas concert on December 18 at 7:30 PM in the Visitors’ Center! All are welcome, and entrance and parking are free.
