Songs of the Season with Monique, Steve, and Susan

Songs of the Season with Monique, Steve and Susan is a trio comprised of Monique Belusa, vocal, Steve Comber, bass and Susan Comber, piano.

The trio performs favorites from the Great American Christmas Songbook, including timeless pop standards and beloved carols, from “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” to “Silent Night.” Monique Belusa is delighted to celebrate the Christmas season through music alongside Susan and Steve Comber. A longtime vocalist and performer, Monique currently sings with WomenSing and serves as a cantor at Christ the King and St. Stephen Catholic Churches. Her theatrical credits include Sondheim in Concert, Cole Porter, Brigadoon, Follies Brasserie, and The 1940s Radio Hour, earning her a Shellie Award nomination for Outstanding Actress. She also performed professionally with The Roulettes, singing music of the ’40s, ’50s, and 60s, and for many years with The Merrie Olde Christmas Carolers, a professional Christmas caroling company. Susan Comber is a pianist with an extensive background in piano performance and music education. She has taught music on every level from pre-school to grad school and is currently an accompanist at Christ the King Catholic Church in Pleasant Hill. Steve Comber is a bassist, now retired, with 47 years of professional experience in symphonic and choral ensembles, musical theater companies, jazz big bands and small combos, and rock groups in the greater Northern California area, centered in Sacramento.
