Source citations are crucial to genealogical research. They make your reputation as a serious researcher. They let others know where you found your information. They also help you remember where you found that information when (not if) you have to refer back to that source. However, citing sources can be tricky. Different genealogical sites use different citation models. This class will discuss choosing a citation model that works for you, including how to build your own model. We will also discover how to move citations from one program to another. We will simplify the process for you so you can stay sane while attaching precise source citations to your research. Jared Weaver is one of the Center’s volunteer staff members. He has been researching his family for over 40 years. Jared specializes in Danish, English, and the early pioneer era in Utah.
