Filipino Cultural Celebration and Devotional

You likely know that the beautiful islands of the Philippines are known for their white sand beaches, underground rivers, and active volcanoes. But, did you know that it is also the birthplace of the yo-yo, the colorful jeepneys, and has been designated as “text capital” of the world because of their eager use of mobile communication. With vibrant festivals throughout the year, there is always something to celebrate. Additionally, the Philippines is the only predominantly Christian country in Asia. Please join us on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 6:00 PM in the Oakland Temple Visitors’ Center for a devotional featuring the music and dance of Filipino culture as well as messages of deep faith and commitment to our Savior Jesus Christ.
