Please join us in the Oakland Temple Hill Auditorium on Sunday, July 5 at 7:00 PM as the Temple Hill Choir and friends present America Celebrates. This family-friendly concert will feature American folk songs, spirituals, patriotic songs, and American hymns that tell the story of America from the birth of the nation through today. Members of the Temple Hill Symphony and soloists will join the choir with favorites like “Yankee Doodle Dandy,” “America the Beautiful,” “Simple Gifts,” and “God Bless the USA.”

Alan Chipman and Amy Strong will direct this Temple Hill Choir celebration of our nation’s 250th anniversary. This concert also kicks off the choir’s 27th year of concerts on Temple Hill and around the SF Bay Area.
