The Citadel of Praise Baptist Choir performance has been canceled by the performers, so Barbara Whitfield and Frank Chang will be performing again on December 6 at 7:30 PM in the Oakland Temple Hill Visitors’ Center!

Barbara Whitfeld is a Gospel Singer and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her accompanist, Frank Chang, have been performing together on Temple Hill for the past twelve years. Barbara’s soulful renditions of spirituals and Christmas songs will bring joy to all. Barbara loves to bring motivation, inspiration and encouragement for all mankind through her music.

Frank Chang started piano lessons at the age of 12, at the suggestion of his younger sister. While in school, Frank moonlighted as an accompanist for singers, big bands, choirs, and small jazz ensembles. While in grad school in San Diego, Frank hosted late night underground jam sessions and recorded with local artists like Randy Morser and the Air Mail Special Jazz Orchestra. More recently, he’s been a member of the Temple Hill Orchestra. Frank has four children and currently lives in Oakland with his wife, Tina.

All are welcome, and entrance and parking are free. No tickets are required.
